Summer is a busy time for birthdays-three of my kids have them during summer and both of Ken's parents celebrated theirs. This was a big year for his parents as they both hit "milestone" years. We are really blessed to have them living in the area and to be able to see them casually without having to fly across the country.
Ken's dad is pretty handy in the kitchen and was able to put up some sweet corn for winter. Corn was pretty tasty this year. I guess lots of rain was good for something!
