No, Really?

So yesterday was Nov. 5 and I'm cruising the isles at Wally world when I realize that the tune I'm hearing over the loudspeaker (and humming along to in my head) is a Christmas carol! Is it just me or is Christmas coming earlier and earlier each year? Can't we just wait until AFTER Thanksgiving before throwing ourselves into another holiday? I love Thanksgiving and it frustrates me that it is always glossed over. There is so much hype for Halloween and Christmas and Thanksgiving is largely ignored. I guess since retailers can't make much money on that holiday they just move on to the next one. Sigh.....................
